Black Belt Awarded

Black Belt Awarded!
Central Michigan Student Awarded 1st Degree Black Belt

April 21, 2007 — The Tung Gin Association and Central Michigan Karate Club hosted the 2007 Spring Black Belt Testing Program in Farwell Michigan. The day was filled with martial arts excitement by hosting 51 student tests for ranks below black belt. The highlight of the day was the FINAL test for the Black Belt Candidate Mr. Chad Simon of Mt. Pleasant.

Being Awarded a Black Belt is a high honor in life that very few people will achieve due to the difficulty and dedication required. Being awarded a Black Belt in Karate is much like earning an Eagle Scout, Masters Degree or Specialist in ones professional field of expertise.

The pathway to becoming a Black Belt is also much more than just physical skill it encompasses the Mind, Body & Spirit. The process takes many years and after all the work has been completed the student MUST be recommended by their instructor & peers.

Certificate Text As Follows:

He shall hereby be honored from this day forward and granted the privileges and responsibilities of this rank.
